Performance research commonly uses 3 to 6mg of caffeine per kilogram of bodyweight; 200mg is a typical single dose. Theanine studies pair 100 to 200mg with a similar caffeine dose.

Caffeine is the most widely consumed stimulant in the world and one of the few supplement ingredients with genuinely deep evidence behind it. L-theanine is an amino acid found almost exclusively in tea leaves. The two occur together naturally in green tea, which is where researchers first got interested in the pairing.

The caffeine plus theanine combination has been studied mainly on attention tasks, with several trials reporting a calmer subjective experience than caffeine alone. How late in the day can I take CARNAGE?
Caffeine has a half-life of roughly 5 to 6 hours, so a 2pm dose still leaves meaningful caffeine in your system at 8pm. Past mid afternoon, switch to NIGHTBURN or ZEROCRASH; we built them stimulant free for exactly this reason.
